In the convoy
- Keep a steady, low speed and stable distance
- Low beam; use fog lights when needed; keep rear lights visible
- Do not overtake or stop unless instructed
If you lose contact
- Ease off the speed; avoid hard braking
- Increase visibility; keep calm spacing to the follower
- Stop only if necessary at a safe place; wait for instructions
