Parking rules in Norway define where you may leave a vehicle, how long you may stay and which fees apply. This guide summarises the key signs, zones, time limits, payment methods and typical fines. For step-by-step help with apps and digital tickets, see Digital parking solutions.
Parking vs stopping
Parking means the vehicle is left unattended for more than the short time needed to let passengers in or out. Short stops are governed by the Stopping rules.
